Strength session with Kettlebells , dumbbells and a 4 year old!

On Thursday last week (15th Feb), I decided I needed to focus on building some muscle so I did a 30 mins strength session.  My daughter was on half term so home with me in the morning and loves helping Mummy by being a weight!

She really enjoys exercising with us and often copies what we are doing.  We have even had her bike propped up so she can pretend she is doing a turbo.  She knows that exercise is important to keep you healthy and she thinks it is great fun.  She has been joining in from a very young age and we have some fantastic videos of her copying us doing all sorts of sessions.

Thursday consisted of;

1. 20 squats (10 kg Kettlebell) x 3 sets
2. 20 bicep curls (2x 5kg dumbbells) x 3 sets
3. 20 sumo squats  (10 kg kettlebell) x 3 sets
3. 20 crunches (5kg dumbbell) x 3 sets
4. 20 tricep curls ( 2 x 5kg dumbbells) x 3 sets
5. 20 lower abs leg raises (started with 5 kg dumbbell ended with 4 year old) x 3 sets

6. 20 twists - lying on back legs bent to 90 degree and tilting legs side to side (4 year old) x 3 sets

7. 20 tricep curls over head) (8 KG kettlebell) x 3 sets
