Day one of my journey...

So, I'm starting my journey of getting fit and healthy and losing weight.  After Christmas I stood on the scales to discover I was 2 lbs away from the heaviest I have ever been (except for late pregnancy). That was 10 years ago during my final year of uni where boozy nights and dirty burgers were my staple diet.

So over the last 18 months I've hovered around the  10-10.5 stone mark. Despite being quite into my exercise I only managed to just drop below 10 at my lowest weight. Then it just crept  up and up over the course of 6 months and rose to 10st 12lbs.  Now for someone who's dream weight is 8 stone something (anything as long as it starts with an 8). That was a hard blow.

So here we go, time to do something about it!  Who is with me?

N.B. I started two weeks ago but I didn't start my blog, so I am speed retrospectively bogging to catch my blog up to "now".
